Gary Kass

Gary Kass is a Principal Officer and currently serves as President for Kass Management Services Inc. He began his career in Property Management after earning his B.S. in Business Management from Northern Illinois University. Spending 5 years working for local firms, Gary learned about all aspects of residential property management. With some experience under his belt, Gary was ready to move on. Starting with a portfolio of seven properties, Gary opened the doors of Kass Management Services Inc. in 1985. Over the years, his Client Relations skills have earned him loyal customers, referrals, and growth opportunites. Since 1985, Kass has grown from 193 residential rental units to over 8500 residential rental, condominium, and commercial units. In 2009 Gary invited Mark Durakovic to join his as a Principal Officer and together they have built a thriving portfolio. Today Gary currently oversees all aspects of Operations for Kass Management Services. Gary is known for his loyalty to his clients. He has a hands on approach when it comes to ensuring customer investments are well maintained. Gary holds an Illinois Real Estate Managing Broker License and acts as a Receiver in the Cook County Court System and U.S. Bankruptcy Court. He is a member of the Board of Directors for the Lincoln Park Builders Club and also serves on the Vice Chairman Property Management Committee for the Chicago Association of Realtors.
