Kass Management Services Expands Chicago-Area Property Management Portfolio

Chicago-based Kass Management Services, a third-party property management and brokerage firm, today announced it has been retained to manage 27 apartment communities, one townhome community, one condo community and one commercial property, collectively comprising 568 residential units in popular Chicago neighborhoods and suburbs. The assignments, which include mixed-use properties, add to Kass Management’s already expansive portfolio of 10,000 residential units and 600,000 square feet of commercial space throughout the Chicago area.

In the city, Kass Management’s new assignments include:

  • CA Washington (27-39 N. Aberdeen St. and 28-40 N. Carpenter St.) – 69-unit luxury condominium building in the West Loop
  • 1525 Homer St. – four-story office building in Bucktown
  • 1619-21 Warren Blvd. – 8-unit newly rehabbed vintage apartment community in the West Loop
  • 1940 W. Addison St. – 6-unit rental community in Roscoe Village
  • 2917 24th Blvd. – 18-unit multifamily property in Little Village
  • 3037 N. Southport Ave. – five-unit apartment building in Lakeview
  • 3045 N. Clifton Ave. – five-unit rental building in Lakeview
  • 3126 W. Walton St. – 16-unit apartment building, recently updated in Humboldt Park
  • 4816 N. Springfield Ave. – eight-unit, newly rehabbed apartment building in Albany Park
  • 6801 N. Ridge Blvd. – 25-unit rental community in Rogers Park
  • 732 W. Bittersweet Place – 100-unit condominium deconversion now owned and managed as a residential rental property in Buena Park
  • 4301 N. Sheridan Road – Newly constructed 38-unit rental building in Uptown
  • 805-811 82nd St. – 17-unit mixed-use building in East Chatham 8343 S. Rhodes Ave. – eight-unit apartment community in Chatham

  • 426 Wesley Ave. – 11-unit rental community in Oak Park
  • 5011, 5017 W. Cermak Road – adjacent mixed-use buildings in Cicero comprising a total of 65 apartments
  • 4835 Belmont Road – eight-unit apartment building in Downers Grove
  • 143 Ann St. – six-unit apartment building in Clarendon Hills
  • 1620 Dempster St. – 16-unit rental community in Park Ridge
  • 18-24 E. Northwest Highway – 12-unit mixed-use property in Arlington Heights 7002-16 W. Medill Ave. – six newly constructed townhomes in Elmwood Park

As manager, Kass will handle site-level operations and oversee renovation improvement projects at several of the communities. Additionally, the Kass Management team will be in charge of marketing available units using both in-house leasing agents and outside rental agencies and will also assist with tenant screening and lease execution.

Residents of each community will also have access to Kass Management’s state-of-the-art technology, including an online portal that can be used to pay rent and submit maintenance tickets.
